Converting a living room closet into a kitchen pantry.

We recently completed converting this living room closet in a kitchen pantry. The closet opening was in the living room. We sealed up the old doorway in the living room. We then took out an old radiator along the wall we wanted the new entrance of the pantry to go. We also sealed up an old window in the kitchen side. After that, we created a new opening into the closet on the kitchen side, repaired the floor where the radiator had been, hung a glass barn door, installed a light in the pantry and tiled the floor in the pantry. The home owners were able to get rid of the very large side board that ate up a lot of room in the kitchen. Now they have more room, a pantry in the kitchen, and have added value to their home.
